This little bear cub is fighting for his life, and he truly is a fighter. He’s bright and alert, eating well, but he’s been shot in the head. We’re doing everything we can for him.
Dr. Sherri Cox, her husband Octavio and my wife Ella are attending to this 7-month-old bear cub in critical condition. We have two cubs at this time requiring critical care that are being cared for every few days by this National Wildlife Centre veterinary team.
Thank you to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. These are tough and critical cases. Fingers crossed these young cubs will pull through. They have everyone and everything pulling for them! We are treating one cub with neurological deficits, and he is getting a little better day by day. Please keep rooting for them!
